O Vulcano
The central sofa O Vulcano, with its gentle profile, invites us to choose the ideal posture: reclining as on a chaise longue or sitting as on a regular sofa. A light comes out of its mouth to remind us of its function, yet it is not frightening; on the contrary, it is relaxing.

Elliptical seat: high-thickness beech plywood structure. Padding: high-density shape-retaining polyurethane covered with protective fabric. Backrest in polyurethane foam with internal steel structure. Feet in painted solid beechwood. All parts are removable.

Born in Rimini in 1959, Roberto Semprini studied architecture in Florence. After graduating, he moved to Milan, where he began a career as a freelance journalist for many major publications, including Modo, Vogue Italia, L’Atelier (Paris), and ARDI (Barcelona). His products achieved such international success that they became part of the permanent collections of the Montreal Museum of Decorative Arts in Canada and the New Museum of Design in London.
He taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and currently teaches at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. He has also worked as a designer and art director for many design companies, including Fiam, Moroso, Alivar, and Rede Guzzini, among many others.
