This year the Florence Biennale XIV edition, taking place from October 14 to 22, 2023, at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, focuses on the theme “I Am You. Individual and Collective Identities in Contemporary Art and Design” and on the concepts of individual and collective identity in their many philosophical, psychological, sociological, and cultural meanings. The artists and designers participating in the 14th Florence Biennale are invited to offer their own interpretation of these concepts in order to foster a dialogue based on mutual recognition, mutual understanding, and cultural exchange, reaffirming intercultural dialogue as one of the event’s core values.
As for design, this edition once again features the presence of ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale, with an exhibition dedicated to the milestones of design: a selection of products awarded with the Compasso d’Oro and included in the ADI Index. Among these, Giovannetti Collezioni’s Anfibio and Papillon projects could not be missing.
